New Year's Eve and the Holiday Season Wrap-Up party

Hi again family!

Well, it's over. And I lived. There are family Christmas's and then there are family Christmas's!!

When it comes to the holidays, these guys are hard core. Saturday evening (Saturday?? I've lost track of the days) was New Years Eve and for th first time, I got to see the Boisvert's and the DiBartolo's come together for a bash.

We had a great dinner of home made French Onion soup and Beef Wellington, topped off with Chocolate Lava cakes! Lots of chit-chat and laughs were had all around and then lots of hugs and kisses when the clock struck 12.

Then we broke out the poker chips! Lena's dad, Fred got a nice set of chips for his December birthday (I got the same set from Lena's grandfather for Christmas!) and then he got the table to go with them for Christmas from Lena's mom, Diane.

I didn't have quite as much luck in this tourney as I did last week at a tournament at a family friends house, where I came in second. No, this time I was shown the door and finished in fourth place, being slowly and methodically trounced by Lena's uncle Jean-Marc. I will have my revenge on Saturday.

So, enjoy the pics and don't forget to post your pice from the season!!

Miss y'all!!
