Well, I've joined the ranks of our other family members hittin' the books. I'm attending SAIT - the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Very similar to NBCC.
I originally was set on taking computer engineering technology, but am now tossing a few other ideas around (Steve, we'll have to talk). For now, I'm working on upgrading some pre-requesites to best position myself for entry into the program of my choice.
It's been an anxious experience, leaving a career that I was very happy and advancing in. But, school was something that had been on my mind for a few years.
So without further ado...here are some pics I snapped this afternoon on my way to class...

Downtown Calgary from the campus front lawn
Heritage Hall, the original building from 1916

Heart Building, behind Heritage Hall

Looking upwards, the entire roof is glass paned to create a massive skylight, which floods the centre atrium with natural light
Well, that's it for now.
Glad to see some folks joining the blog, but we are still missing a lot of family members. So encourage others that you see or talk to, to join in!
