We had ourselves a "Mini Christmas" on Sunday evening. Marielena's cousin Ghyslene, from Victoria has been staying here in Ottawa with the DiBartolo's for a while and has now left for home for the holiday's.
As a nice sendoff, we had "Mini Christmas" for her so she could have a Christmas'ish dinner and open some gifts with her family here.
Here is the post complete with pics that I submitted on the DiBartolo/Boisvert Blog highlighting the evening:
P.S The crazy guy in some of the pics, is Marielena's brother, Michael.

The 2005 Holiday Season is officially underway with last nights inagural Mini Christmas. Will it become an annual event? One can only wait and see.
As Ghyslene is leaving to head back to Victoria for the Holidays, Diane had the brilliant idea to host a sleek and compact version of the holiday festivities just for her! In addition to Diane, Fred, Michael, Staci, Marielena and myself, Grandmaman, Aunt Mariette and one of Ghyslene's friends Nick, were all in attendance.
We kicked off the evening with some Moose Milk and then sat down to dinner. We even had mini Christmas presents at each place setting. In keeping with the mini theme, we comitted a mini masacre to an entire family of Cornish chickens; all neatly lined up in the baking pan wrapped in swaddling tin foil.
Afterwards, Ghyslene opened all her gifts and made off with quite a bounty of girly bathroom stuff, a great sweater and a beautiful angel pendant. Some peanut butter cheesecake topped off the evening quite well, I must say.
Here are some pics of the evening.
