Hey Everyone,
I've been totally MIA on the King Blog since before Christmas I think! Time just seems to fly and I can't keep up! And sadly, not even that much is new, I'm just busy with work!
Christmas at home was fantastic, and it was sooo great to see everyone. It was a whirlwind though and it was sooo hard to come back here to Regina. I'm feeling much more settled and back into the routine now, so that's good!
I started new courses in January - Ethics for Clinical Psychologists, Adult and Child Assessment, and Interventions. These courses are actually really interesting, and it's fun to finally do some hands on stuff, especially in assessment where we get to do interviews and administer psychological tests. It's pretty neat! This semester though is ridiculously busy, and I naively thought it couldn't get any worse than last semester! But last semester pales in comparison! I do have to say though that the courses in general this semester are MUCH more interesting! I can't believe we're into the second week of February already. This year is definitely flying. If I can just get through my course work, someday I might have time to work on my thesis and finish my masters:)
Apparently we've gotten off easy thus far with the prairie winters. It's actually been quite pleasant, only usually about -5 or so. It's been colder the past few days though and today its soooo windy that you could literally blow away outside!
Anyway, I just thought I'd make a short post to let you know that Brian and I are both doing great and that we miss everyone tons and tons! Hope you're all doing well!
Love,
theresa

So glad you enjoyed your Christmas back home.
I hate to burst your bubble about a mild winter, but we here in balmy Calgary have been enjoying temps typically between -1 all the way up to 9 or 10 on some days. It has only snowed ONCE all winter and the bar patios on 17th Ave were packed on the weekend!
